Online Therapy

Online therapy can bring many benefits to your busy life, such as having the flexibility to meet from the comfort of your home, car or office, as long as you have the privacy to share your thoughts and feelings. You can conveniently avoid the hassle of commuting to your therapist’s office or accounting for travel time.
 

Wondering how to get started? Here are the steps:

 

  • Schedule a free 15-minute phone screening to determine if online therapy with me is a good fit for you.

  • Once you become a client you will be sent an e-mail with some initial documents to complete and schedule our first appointment.

  • Before our first session, you will receive a link to my waiting room at Doxy.me, a confidential HIPAA compliant video portal. We will meet for an initial assessment to get to know you and understand your presenting concern better. After this session we will set up a time to consistently keep meeting for therapy.


Keep in mind that online therapy may not be for you if:

  • You do not have access to an electronic device (phone/tablet/computer) and/or don’t feel comfortable with technology.

  • You are in crisis and experiencing thoughts of harming self or others.

  • You lack the motivation to make changes in your life and engage in honest self-exploration.
